Much less a romance than I had hoped it would be. More like woman meets stranger in bar, goes home with him. The rest of the book is their night and morning of sex. Very descriptive sex. Nothing else but sex. No point but sex. No story but sex.If thats what youre after, you have found it here. Im just not sure why its listed as a romance. Possibly because they dont have a category called 'Sex for the sake of sex.'

i so wish it was alittle bit longer.. Gunnar and Morgan. I love Morgan she has amaazing friends a great sense of humor and i love her christmas wish to santa.. like girl has some guts to say that to santa

Morgan lives in New Jersey and works as a cocktail waitress/bartender. She enjoys her job and lives with her three best friends. But it’s almost Christmas. Not only did she just break up with her loser of a boyfriend, she doesn’t have the money for a ticket to go home to be with her family for Christmas.
Morgan and one of her roommates stop at the mall on the way to work and she ends up sitting on the lap of a very bad mall Santa whom she recognizes from the bar and smells strongly of liquor. But Santa insists on Morgan telling him what she wants for Christmas. So, she does, in detail. She lists all the qualities she wants in her perfect guy, an alpha male that will know what she wants but will also treat her like a lady. Morgan wants a bad boy for Christmas.
In the middle of her shift on Christmas Eve, a man walks in to her bar that takes her breath away. He is everything she wants and more. Could this be her Christmas bad boy? Maybe Christmas wishes do come true.
This was a quick, fun and sexy story. It was the perfect way to cap off my Christmas reading for the year.
And I do mean short, I timed myself and even after rereading certain parts multiple times it took me only 46 minutes and 47 seconds to read this story in its entirety.
Well written, great grammar, fun, sexy, and sweet! I don't remember when I downloaded it but I'm glad I got around to reading this story. Its definitely has reread value, which is important to me with books. It was a bit cliché, but overall this was a very enjoyable read. I would recommended this book to anyone who enjoys romance books, its not overly naughty in anyway. There is some light "backdoor" play but nothing much. Most of this book is just vanilla sweet with a heavy Christmas vibe, a perfect short sweet read at Christmas or anytime(as I've obviously proven with me reading it in February Lol)
I struggled with deciding how many stars to give this. I realize that it's a novella and it's meant to be a short read. For the most part, it was good. It's written very nicely. No editing problems. However, I just couldn't get into it.
Morgan, the main character, is lonely. It's Christmas time and she doesn't have the money to fly home. She's "stuck" at her apartment with her roommates who she's friends with. Now, I can understand her being upset if she was all alone or if she and her roommates didn't get along. Morgan's in a bad mood because she recently broke up with the guy she was dating. So, jokingly, she sits on a drunken Santa's lap and asks for a man with a list of traits that she's looking for. The man playing Santa is a regular at the bar she works at. He says ok. She's puzzled. How can he get her a man for Christmas? Lo and behold on Christmas Eve in walks the man of her dreams. He had her at 'Hello darling'. She talks with him, they go out to eat, and head back to his place for some merry making. This is all in one night.
First off, I've spent a lot of holidays alone. It's lonely,yes, but it doesn't kill you. I'm still here. If I had friends to hang out with, like Morgan, who'd help me with my breakup and keep me from loneliness, I'd be elated! Morgan's problem is that she wants a man, and not just any man, to fill her void. Then, she talks about not wanting to be stereotyped as being easy but she meets this guy who she doesn't know from Adam and sleeps with him!! She ate her own words. Now I know that in books or on tv it's not sexy to stop in the heat of passion to put a condom on. But I couldn't stop thinking that after I read this, I'll be reading I Want A Baby For Valentine's Day! One more thing, her man, Gunnar. I just couldn't get into him. I thought he was kind of creepy and calling her darling? I kept imaging him wearing a cowboy hat and boots and talking with a Texas drawl.
In the end, I'm left with questions. Was the drunken Santa the REAL Santa? (Yes, I know Santa is fiction!) Did he send her her man? Or maybe he worked for Gunnar? A higher power, maybe? Or was it all a coincidence? I guess we'll never know.
To sum this up, it's a fast paced book with fast paced actions. If you like your books & characters like this, this one's for you!!

Very short, but cute, little holiday read. I got a kick out of the whole "alpha hero in a romance novel" wishlist/checklist, because seriously, who doesn't want a guy like that??? A little sweet, a little sexy, a whole lot of insta. Perfect read for sitting and enjoying by the lights of your Christmas tree.
